Thirft Stores

If you don't already you need to go thrift shopping and I am not just saying that because of the recession. You can get one of a kind items and also the lasted trends when it comes to fashion.  I have this one friend who just refused to go thrift shopping but one visit to the buffalo exchange and she was down for the cause. Here is one of my favorite thrift stores. Crazy but I was never sure of the name but here is the sign in front of the store.  Its big, has the lasted trends, very organized, and will surprise you on what you can find. It is located on La Brea and two blocks away from Melrose (right after pinks hot dog stand), in Los Angeles. (825 La Brea) Prices may be costly for a thrift store but this is the mall when it comes to vintage. Every Sunday 9-1 they have somewhat of a yard sale and sell everything for a dollar, it does not get better than that. I will do my favorite thrift store Buffalo Exchange and the Rodeo Drives' versions of thrift stores on another blog.

Check out the spread and that is not even half of the store...it has two levels.

She should get the hat uh?
Off to the next thrift store.... I can't get enough.

How I lost 30 pounds (Boxing)

Boxing is a serious workout, you work almost every muscle in the body. A person can burn between 400-1,000 calories. The reason that so many celebrities use boxing as a way to lose weight is because boxing is interval training. That means that so 3 minutes you go really hard and then you let your heart rate slow down for 1 minutes and then you do that again and again. This form of fitness burns almost 20% more fat than if you were to hard for the duration! Use boxing to lose weight and part of your fitness training!  Even celebrities benefit from adding boxing to their workout.  Celebrities such as; Gwen Stefani, Marisa Miller, Matthew McConaughey, Eva Mendez, LeAnn Rimes, Jessica Simpson, Nick Carter, and many more use boxing as part of their exercise program. Lucky me my husband is a license personal trainer and was a professional boxer so I can take advantage.

Neutral the new Black (OOTD) plus long skirts

Had to do a few things today and one of them was PTA stuff at my daughter's school. It was warm and a pretty day so here goes my outfit outcome for what I was feeling today. Neutral is the new Gray, when Gray was the new black who can keep up with the rules. Either way I was neutral down to my new nail polish Jazz by Essie. If it was cold I would have opted for my boots. I was too lazy to change purses plus I only used my purse for only an hour and dumped it for the diaper bag.

simple make up is always my choice, cream blush from tarte, lipstick suggested from a good friend fondle by mac, eyeliner maybelline gel with simple eyeliner brush Sonia kashuk.

camisole by random mall store, skirt by forenza (given by my Aunt), top by elainekim, watch by michelle, necklace bought in Ghana, bracelets from yard sale, purse dior, necklace nugget from tiffanys, shoes from flea market.

Long skirts (maxi skirts) are in big this fall plus neutral colors.
